Laser Therapy Info Guide

What is laser therapy?

Laser therapy involves the use of laser beams which are placed directly on a pain point to treat a number of acute conditions, including areas of swelling or inflammation.

How does laser therapy work?

A laser beam will be focused on a particular part of your pet’s body, transmitting light energy to the affected cells and helping the process of regeneration. These lasers are perfect for pets who might struggle to cope with the needle-insertion process of acupuncture.

Will my pet be distressed by this procedure?

Your pet will feel disturbed at first, but our expert guidance and relaxing presence will allow it to relax. Some animals even enjoy the warmth of the lasers on their skin.

When will laser therapy be recommended?

Laser therapy can be used to treat any number of conditions, and is especially useful for inflammation or swelling. We’ll recommend the therapy whenever we feel it’s beneficial for your pet.
