Veterinary Surgeon
Full time Veterinary Surgeon required for 100% small animal independent practice. Would consider part time or job share.
The role:
This is a new position in a busy and expanding practice. Our main branch is by the riverside in Livingston where we have full in-house lab, imaging suite with digital x-ray/dental x-ray and ultrasound, medical laser, stance analyser, ECG and visiting specialists. Limited on call until 10pm weeknights only plus in-patient care. Weekends 2:6 Saturdays until 5pm and no weekend on-call. Second branch in Bathgate with surgical facilities and medical laser. All staff rotate over both branches.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be 2+ years qualified and comfortable working as part of a busy team, no sole charge. Must be confident in consultations and surgical interest beneficial as we have an ever increasing surgical caseload. Full support offered from existing staff including full and part time vets with a variety of experience and a very experienced and qualified nursing team.
